"After owning my own practice and working for another dental service organization, I'm definitely seeing advantages with HDC that I wasn't seeing before."
Unlike many of Heartland Dental Care's newly recruited dentists, Dr. Joseph Chasko came to HDC with diverse dental experience. After graduating from the University of Florida School of Dentistry, he owned his own practice in Fort Lauderdale for 12 years, worked for a dental service organization for three years and opened a dental clinic for the University of Central Florida.
"Even though I've had a variety of dental experience throughout the years, I'm still eager to embrace HDC's proven ways," said Dr. Chasko. "There are number of areas I'm already seeing improvement in. For instance, in my last dental service organization practice, I couldn't choose our labs or the materials we used. HDC allows me to choose from a wide variety of preferred materials based on my preference."
Dr. Chasko first heard about Heartland Dental Care at the 2010 ADA National Convention. After visiting the HDC booth and learning about the company's vision and mission, he became interested in joining.
"I didn't know much about HDC previously, but I was excited there was a large, successful organization that was expanding in Florida that I could be part of," said Dr. Chasko.
Dr. Chasko started practicing with Heartland this past June with the opening of Lee Vista Dental in Orlando. By using his knowledge from his diverse experience and taking advantage of Heartland's opportunities, he continues to elevate his success.
"All the field administration I worked with during the recruiting process was very helpful; they were professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was even able to visit an HDC office in Orlando and was impressed with how technologically advanced it was."
Dr. Chasko started working with HDC this past June with the opening of Lee Vista Dental in Orlando. By using his knowledge from his diverse experience and taking advantage of HDC's opportunities, he continues to elevate his success.
"The continuing education I've had access to has been amazing. I recently completed the advanced endodontic course, and that was one of the best technical continuing education courses I've ever taken," said Dr. Chasko. "Compared to some of my other past experiences with practice support, Heartland Dental Care has been a step up. Before, all my support was provided by email and I rarely got to speak to anyone in person. It was also difficult to reach anyone when I had a question or needed assistance. HDC's support is much more personalized, uncomplicated and efficient."
Dr. Chasko is a prime example of how dentists from all career levels can accomplish their professional goals with the assistance of Heartland Dental Care.
