From the Ground Up
The HDC Home Office Expansion Project Continues Advancing
There’s some exciting growth taking place at the HDC Home Office in Effingham, Illinois. The Home Office expansion project has progressed tremendously over the past few months. HDC is expanding their Home Office facility by 40,000 square feet, doubling its size to 80,000 total square feet.
The Home Office plays a huge role in helping affiliated offices succeed. It contains non-clinical practice support areas such as marketing, accounting, administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, payroll, IT, education, recruiting and development.
The building addition will create space for an estimated 170 new jobs; positions which will help meet the continual support needs for HDC’s growth. In addition, this expansion will bring back the HDC Institute to the Home Office. Continuing education has always been a focus for HDC, and the previous Institute served as a means for dentists and team members to receive first-rate clinical and leadership training. Although HDC still currently has amazing education opportunities available offsite, they’re excited to once again offer affiliated dentists and team members world-class continuing education directly at the Home Office.
The Home Office construction is scheduled for completion this summer.
