A New Vendor for Heartland Dental
Partnership with Proctor & Gamble offers first-rate supplies to affiliated offices.
One of the great benefits affiliated dentists enjoy at Heartland Dental is access and cost savings on the top supplies in dentistry. In order to offer them the most high-quality materials, as well as a wide selection of materials they can choose from, Heartland Dental partners with a variety of industry-leading companies in dentistry.
Recently, Heartland Dental partnered with Crest and Oral-B, both members of the Procter & Gamble family of worldwide brands. Established as two of the most recognizable brands in dentistry, Crest and Oral-B have provided high-quality dental products to benefit the oral and overall heath of the public for over 60 years. Now in their partnership with Heartland Dental, these two well-known brands will help support over 500 affiliated offices as their preferred vendor for toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss – the core components of proper oral hygiene.
Vice President of Administration at Heartland Dental
"We're very excited to partner with Heartland Dental and be one of their preferred vendors. This is a great opportunity that will benefit both parties," said Andrew Giangreco, Region Manager at Procter & Gamble. "Crest and Oral-B pride themselves on the innovative contributions to dentistry we've made. With Heartland Dental being a leader and innovator in dental support, the partnership made perfect sense."
"At Heartland Dental, we make offering the best tools, resources, technology and materials to affiliated dentists and team members a priority, explained Chad Thompson, Vice President of Administration at Heartland Dental. "With the effective, proven supplies they create, there's no doubt that Crest and Oral-B have instituted themselves as dental product leaders in the eyes of both the public and industry."
Since introducing the first effective fluoride toothpaste in 1955, it is estimated that Crest has helped prevent more than half a billion cavities in the United States alone. Crest also was the first toothpaste to secure the ADA Seal of Acceptance. With manual and power toothbrushes for both adults and children, oral irrigators, oral care centers and dental floss, the Oral-B brand has become a global leader in the over $5 billion brushing market. Their toothbrushes are used by more dentists than any other brand worldwide.
"Like Heartland Dental, both the Crest and Oral-B brands are committed to positively impacting oral health and the dental industry in general," added Giangreco. "As we support Heartland Dental-affiliated dentists in making a difference in the health of their patients, we look forward to advancing in this mutual goal together."
